In collaboration with curator Darina Rogatskina, our team brought together artists Kalina Bańka, Maria Gvardeitseva, Sofia Malemina, Małgorzata Mitka, Maria Węsławska-Gribina, and Marta Wojciechowska. Through sculpture, video, and sound, they explore the concept of the vacuum — a space where the familiar fades and the boundaries between different environments become clear.

“We truly believe every woman artist deserves to be seen and valued. Through the Vacuum exhibition, we strive to support talented artists on the global art scene and create opportunities for them to participate in powerful events like Cracow Art Week. I hope this exhibition will elevate their careers and inspire them to continue unlocking the full potential of women in art,” says Dina Mostovaya, founder of Sensity Studio.
The exhibition’s title references Sofia Malemina’s multimedia work, which layers soundscapes recorded during an experiment in silence, questioning whether true silence exists. Marta Wojciechowska says, "I love making something out of nothing," which captures the essence of her work, where she bridges unseen dimensions and shows that glass has no limits in expressing profound meaning. Maria Gvardeitseva and Maria Węsławska-Gribina explore identity amid shifting environments, and Małgorzata Mitka works with glass to reconstruct the memory of loss. Kalina Bańka examines intergenerational connections as an evolving system.

The exhibition's curator, Darina Rogatskina, adds, "I am always in awe of how women artists navigate the void — how they engage with absence, the lack of anchors or context. They uncover depth, create environments, and draw roadmaps that guide the way out of any realm of nicość, a state of nothingness that is never truly empty."
Finally, Vacuum challenges the notion that emptiness is merely absence. Instead, it is a presence that shapes transformation.
